the worse thing is that i am getting fatter and i don't like it this way because i don't want to be fat all my life.

joey is indignant.

i am not scary. qw is scary and i am nice. BUT according to sherry, nancy has more potential to me scary than qw. haha. the one who blackfaces and -something- i forgot what nancy said about qw but HAHA it sounded like a description of her -that- mood.

yay for physics. i don't care who the teacher is and how she teaches, i still love physics. physics pwns all, whether you like it or not.

i have mixed feelings about everything. i miss her but i am scared of her. (no i am not talking about any direct)

this should be all.

24th-Aug-2006 10:57 pm - why
LAUGHaroo

why must we be all-rounded individuals?

people are beginning to do more than they are supposed to for their jobs. this causes companies to dismiss the need of getting more employees to do other jobs.

ok anyway, why does it seem to me that a good and flawless report card is necessary for a pursuer for science but not for a pursuer of the Arts? what does the humanities have anything to do with science? perhaps the humanity in the subjects do matter. but still, there are people out there who can understand science concepts really well without being able to write well. by having different people specialising in different fields, we can be interdependent. why the need to be independent anyway? no human being can live without others anyway, so why work alone? if you are not good at writing, get a writer to help you write your cover letter and resume. if you are not good at doing the math for your artwork, then get someone who's good at math to do it.

perhaps this will bring harm to the development of our society but i just hope to emphasise that there is nothing wrong being bad at something because that's what's making you normal, that's what's making you who you are and not who are supposed to be.

we ought to push ourselves to our fullest potential. but i guess they missed out the bit about pushing ourselves to our fullest potential for what we are truly interested in.

maybe i am trying to be in denial just 'cos my english is not good. i hoep that's normal.

why do we even aim for perfection?
just look at the impossibility of it ever happening.. it's really out of reach so why care?

mr tee went into 306 telling them he was supposed to be moody but after entering their class, his anger subsided.
now, the point is that 306 had 2nd block bio.

the other point is that 310 had 1st block bio.

and i suppose you get the drift.

i feel helpless when i face him in class cos no matter what i say and how much i try to respond to his questions, he never acknowledges my answers especially when they are right. he reprimands me when i get it wrong. goodness, how atrocious is that. it's not as though i don't try. AND HE GETS ANGRY WITH ME. i should just shut up in future.

i think ms goh is beginning to think that i am stupid again.

aesthetics was so embarrassing.

(i realised that i was in the same class as serena) <- ok i wasN'T embarrassed because of this.

while listening to mrs chin talk, joey's head slowly slid from her hand, past her elbow and onto the table. and then i grabbed my coat from chinese pt with my other hand and placed my head over it in a comfortable position on the table. then i just started sleeping. sigh, and mrs chin spotted me. duh, cos i was sitting in front. and she commented that maybe it's cos i was very tired. of course. ah she was so understanding but i dared not continue sleeping.. cos everyone started giggling? >.< sheesh?

peirong didn't go for aesthetics! ):

next lesson will be on makeup so remind me to inform latha to go for a makeup makeup lesson :P

Joey, your crush is the Class President

Hello, First Lady. A smart and motivated gal like you should set your sights high when it comes to your crush. Forget the slackers or burnouts. You should go for a guy who's got brains, ambition, and people skills (good looks wouldn't hurt either). Only an achiever and well-liked beau will be able to keep up with a first-class lass like you.

A guy who's heading up the student council, spearheading a car-wash fundraiser, and winning everyone over with his charisma and charm is the right candidate for you. He's the responsible type who'll make Mom and Dad proud. And you'll feel proud when your next stop is the campaign trail or The White House!

cough?

Joey, you find love in a Fairy Tale

Glass slippers, traveling minstrels, knights in shining armor. These are some of the classic components of fairy tales. And when it comes to your real-life love life, you'll take 'em in the form of candy and flowers, poems describing your beauty, tiny velvet boxes, and the like. Whether you are single or settled, you're a firm believer that the fairy tale shouldn't end when someone is carried over the threshold (though that's a pretty fun part, too).

You sometimes have to work to get your head out of the clouds, but your optimistic spirit and love-conquers-all attitude helps you deal with the good and bad that life might throw your way. As long as you can spot a poison apple when it knocks on your door, you'll always be able to find your happy ending.

hm?
